Center for Lifelong Education & Adult Education

1. Mission

The mission of the Centre is to foster permanent employability of citizens and to contribute to the successful transition of our region and Croatia to a society and economy based on knowledge and lifelong learning.

2. Basic goals

  • Providing training and development services in the field of economics and associated disciplines for business people and professionals.
  • Consulting in organizational or personal processes of lifelong learning, adaptation and development.
  • Developing adaptation abilities and proactive change management.

3. Educational programs forms and levels

  • Formal continuing education involves organized learning processes within verified educational programs to acquire an officially recognized certificate of a particular education level. Formal educational programs include training or professional development programs providing qualifications that will be recorded in the personal employment record card.
  • Informal continuing education involves organized learning processes in non-verified training programs for professional, social, and personal development. These programs may be organized as in-house or open programs, and upon their completion the participants will obtain a Certificate of Attendance.
  • In- house programs are tailored to specific needs of clients, most frequently firms, and are aimed at professional training and development of their human resources to improve their efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Open programs are directed to the wider public for the purpose of professional training and development as well as personal growth of participants.

Each of these disciplines is the framework for a range of program lines branching out horizontally and vertically to include various disciplines in compliance with the clients' requirements.
