HOW TO REACH SPLIT

Graphical ilustrations indicating location of Island of Brac and the town of Bol on Island itself are provided below.

Please note that these ilustrations are provided only as an indication of venue's location. Transport will be organised to and from the Split airport and for participants arriving to Split by bus, train or boat.
Please note that no costs of participant's car transport to/from the Island of Brac will be covered by the Organizer.

ARRIVING BY CAR

Reaching Split by car

You can reach the city of Split from various directions:

• From Zagreb by Highway A1 Zagreb-Split,
• or using the road through the inland (Zagreb - Karlovac - National Park Plitvicka jezera- Knin - Sinj - Split)
• traveling along the Adriatic coast from the north (Rijeka - Zadar - Šibenik - Split)

You can also arrive in Split with Your car by taking a ferry from Rijeka to Split, from Dubrovnik to Split, and from major Italian harbours on the Adriatic coast (Pescara, Ancona, Bari). Note that availability of transport from Italian ports varies according to the season, with more connections being avialable during summer season (from June until September). Traveling from Split to Bol by car

Upon reaching the city of Split, a ferry to the city of Supetar on the Island of Brac should be taken. Upon arrival to Supetar, Bol is 40 km ride by car.
Participants arriving from the general direciton of south can also take a ferry from the city of Makarska to the town of Sumartin on the Island of Brac. Getting to Bol requieres further 28 km ride by car.

ARRIVING BY FERRY / BOAT

• Bol can be reached directly from Split city port by hydrofoil or by catamaran (there is one daily departure from Split)
• Bol can also be reached by taking a ferry from Split to Supetar (town on the island of Brac - see map above) and then proceeding by bus (there are regular public transportation lines available) or by taxi to Bol.

ARRIVING BY AIRPLANE

Using airplane you can arrive to the airport in Split (Airport Resnik - open all year around). Upon arrival to the airport there usualy are dedicated buses on route to the city of Split center, provdided by air transport companies. From the bus arrival point there is only a short walk (approx. 5 minutes) to the ferry port, from which ferry to Island of Brac can be taken (see arriving by ferry/boat)

Please note that there is a small airport on the Island of Brac, used for small charters and private planes during late spring and whole summer season.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN

Upon arrival at the Railway station, ferry port is just across the road. From the port, ferries, catamarans or hydrofoils can be taken to the Island of Brac (see arriving by ferry/boat).
